This super lustrous cluster of pyrite crystals from the West Bay occurrence show a combination of cube and octahedral faces. The Port au Port Peninsula, on the west coast of the island of Newfoundland has become a prolific producer of mineral specimens, in recent years. One of the most interesting is the occurrence of pyrite nodules ands crystals in the shales of West Bay, Tea Cove, Lead Cove, etc. Very lustrous example that displays well.
