This specimen from Aguathuna is a plate of, sort of "crested baryte" in the old textbook terminology. The location at Aguathuna is a "white smoker", a sub-sea hot spring that precipitated light coloured barium sulphate instead of black sulphides, like "black smokers" do. Handsome piece!
