Here's a very rich sample of high grade silver ore from the Langis Mine. The piece is sawn on one side and left rough on the other to best show the mineralogical textures. The specimen comes from the Langis Mine, a site owned and operated by different mining companies since 1906 until around 1971 when it became solely owned by Langis Mining Ltd. Total silver production to the end of 1966 was approx. 9.4 million ounces. Very nice!
