Rheniite

There are very few rheniim-bearing minerals. In fact there are only a couple. Here is an example of one of the only ones! The cavities in this fragment of basalt are loaded with thin, foil-like crystals of rheniite, that sort of resemble molybdenite. Rare and rich!
