This piece would have been dug up during exploration of the Les Farges silver-lead mine in Corrèze in the 1970's, as the mine has been closed since 1981. This mine produced the best pyromorphite specimens that ever came out of France. Here we see numerous barrel shaped crystals on the baryte matrix. Exceptional sample!
