OHere we have a singly terminated, navy blue apatite crystal perched atop its calcite matrix. As with many apatite specimens from the Grenville, the apatite must have come off its matrix when it was being exposed out of the calcite and has been placed back on with some glue (visible only under microscope). The unterminated end is not broken or cleaved, just ends in an odd form. A rare colour for Canadian apatite!
