Allanite

Here is a sharp, thick-bladed, allanite crystal from the difficult to find location in Olden Township. This specimen was in the collection of well known mining engineer Max von Frohberg, catalogue #P104. The crystal was mounted on a plug of putty, years ago, and the putty is not hard as rock! 🙂 Stands perfectly, though!
