Zircon

Here is a long, singly-terminated zircon crystal from the Kipawa Alkaline Complex. The long, terminated prism is a different shape than normal. Actually, there are some parts of a second termination at the base of the crystal which also has the previous owner's information painted on. Collected at Kipawa in 1978.
