Weloganite, Quartz, Calcite

Several large, well-formed yellow weloganite crystals are nicely exposed in this vug within the typical Francon matrix. The vug lining also features sceptered quartz crystals and rhombohedral calcite. The incredibly hard matrix has been sawn. This is certainly a "museum" specimen, showcasing some of the largest weloganite crystals I have ever seen in a substantial piece of matrix.
