Here is a nice cluster of toffee coloured vanadinite crystals featuring a very unusual growth habit. The
crystals show a “sandwich” configuration of an earlier growth crystal overgrown by caps of lighter
coloured, more lustrous vanadinite. The resultant crystals are reminiscent of a sandwich. DD
