A sharp needle-like light green tourmaline with a very steep termination. From the Stewart Mine in Pala, California. Originally this mine was opened to mine lithium near the turn of the 20th century and closed not too long after, it was reopened in the 1960's to excavate gem quality elbaite, as well as morganite and kunzite. A nice small sample!
