Topaz

A beautiful, highly gemmy, slightly, whiskey-coloured topaz crystal from the famous gem pegmatite area at Mogok. It has very sharp prismatic and terminal faces. It does have a large flat chip out of the pinacoid, though, which may turn some people off. You actually cannot notice it in a display but if you look down on the top, there it is. I think that several flawless gems could be cut from this one!!
