This specimen features a thick, botryoidal layer of dark greenish-brown smithsonite, likely over a lighter-coloured mineral, possibly calcite or an earlier stage of smithsonite. Specimens from the copper-zinc Antler Mine in Mohave County, Arizona, are highly uncommon and rarely available. This striking piece also displays an iridescent, botryoidal crust, adding to its appeal.
