This specimen is a portion of a shattered shattered quartz, calcite and uraninite vein that is held together by crystallized silver. That is, dendritic silver courses the length of the specimen and holds all the pieces together. It is a metal of course and did not shatter during the blast. Radioactive. Interesting specimen from an unusual location.
