Silver, Calcite

This specimen is just wires of silver and calcite! The top of the specimen is an opening in calcite that shows hundreds of wires of native silver, with just a very light darkened patina. The rest of the specimen is just coarse calcite that is laced with wire silver in a very high density. If you dissolved the calcite away, you would have a large nest of just wire silver. Quite amazing! AND displays well!
