Here is a rich vein section from the fabled University Mine, near Cobalt. It is a full vein section showing very rich silver associated with, mostly, breithauptite. The silver is present as thick clots, dendritic and veinlets. The breithauptite shows the characteristic pinkish-metallic colour that makes it fairly unique. It is sawn on one side and rogh on all others which enables you to see the mineralogical texture better. Of course, there are little knobs of silver sticking out of the piece on the back.
