Here is a monster vein section! Probably weighs 25-30 pounds! It is a complete vein section showing wall rock on one side and carbonate vein infilling on the other side. Rich, native silver can be seen throughout the arsenides as veinlets of varying size. The silver is easily observed on the sawn side as shiny, sectioned, metallic masses, while on the rough sides, the silver sticks out of the arsenides as knobs of metal. Excellent, as both a silver specimen and a geological example of vein structure at Cobalt. The Temiskaming Mine was one of the earlier mines in the Cobalt mining camp. Excellent!
