Silver, Arsenides

Deerhorn Mine
Cobalt
Ontario
Canada
Dimensions: 10.3x9.8x3.0 cm
Largest crystal size: n/a mm
Price: CA

A super-high-grade chunk of native silver and arsenide vein material from the Deerhorn Mine, one of the earlier Mines in the Cobalt Mining Camp, starting in 1905. The piece is sawn on one side and rough on the other. The sawn side shows dendritic silver and veinlets of silver in cobalt and nickel arsenides mixture, while the rough side shows erythrite and annabergite-tinted arsenides with silver sticking out. It is a full width vein section with a long wall contact on one side and a very smaller wall rock contact on the other side. Really nice high-grade vein material.

Note: All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). International customers are charged in CAD, exchange rate is calculated automatically by your bank/paypal upon checkout.
