Discrete mineral phases of the various minerals can often be difficult to observe. Many of the arsenide minerals occur, mostly, in mixtures of minerals, often too intimate to analyse or observe. This specimen has excellent differentiation of two phases and includes nickeline, mostly at the core of the lobular growths and lighter, more silvery, rammelsbergite on the outer rims of the growths. They have been analysed. This one is cut and polished on one side just sawn on the other side.
