A well formed Japan-law twin of quartz crystals from one of the most prolific generators of such twins. This particular one is flattened, with tiny rosettes of hematite crystals on the back, shows two twin members at the requisite axial angle of 84 degrees, 33 minutes. The twin, 4.0cm tip-to-tip is attached to several other quartz crystals. One of the twinned crystals has a small chip out of the end. Still a very nice example!
