A well formed Japan-law twin of quartz crystals from one of the most prolific generators of such twins. This particular one is very flattened, speckled with tiny rosettes of hematite crystals, shows one larger twin member and one smaller twin member at the requisite axial angle of 84 degrees, 33 minutes. The top of the larger crystal is intergrown with a smaller quartz crystal. Very nice example!
