Hot Springs is famous for the large quartz crystals and plates of quartz crystals that occur and that are recovered there. Most/many international mineral collections have a fine quartz specimen from Arkansas in them! This one is a little different, showing pure white calcite caps on some of the quartz, which makes for a very displayable specimen with a difference. No damage. Handsome!
