Quartz

A nice, flattened, re-healed, shard of quartz from this amazing pegmatite area. When pegmatite pockets are forming/cooling, often they implode, causing the crystals to fracture. Sometimes thgey start re-growing, again, from residual fluids in the pocket, resulting in crystals like this.
