Pyrolusite

This specimen is a plate of undulating, botryoidal pyrolusite. Where the botryoids are broken, you can see the bright, silvery-metallic colour of the pyrolusite. Otherwise, the botyroids appear pitch black. Interesting piece from an unusual manganese-rich locality!
