The Canada Talc Mine operated for over 100 years at Madoc, Ontario. There were some interesting minerals collected there over the years. Often they would mine through zones of large or small pyrite crystals embedded in schistose rock rich in small dravite crystals. This example (repaired) is one that I collected many years ago and shows trhe dravite-rich schistose rock with the sides of the pyrite crystal impregnated by dravite crystals. An occurance in the Grenville Geological Province. Unique!
