A wonderful type of pyrite crystallization! These ovoid pyrite concretions from Newfoundland spiral clockwise from micros into bigger and bigger simple cubic crystals. The concretions weather out of shale on the shore and on bottom of a shallow bay of the ocean. A great example of a very unique habit!
