THIS is a VERY nice proustite and xanthoconite specimen! There is a main cavity in the front of this corroded galena and quartz that has loads of well formed, rich, ruby-red proustite crystals in it. There are excellent proustite crystals in many other places on the specimen, as well. As important, are the sharp, orangey, more bladed crystals of xanthoconite, the polymorph of proustite. This specimen is excellent and displays well.
