The top of this matrix is largely covered with acicular johannsenite and tabular, black crystals of manganbabingtonite. The Iron Cap Mine is one of the few localities for manganbabingtonite. As well, there are tiny black hemispheres of an unknown mineral on the manganbabingtonite. Sharp, excellent crystals of these rare minerals!
