A great example of a malachite nodule from the long closed Empress of India Mine in Yukon Territory. The sample is covered in rich green fibrous crystals. Not many specimens from this mine have survived. Though rockhounds can manage to collect material from the site on occasion the main portal to the mine has collapsed making it very difficult collect anything significant. Very cool, rare, secondary mineral specimen from Canada.
