This octahedral magnetite crystal is mostly, covered by resinous, fairly sharp, dark-brown titanite crystals in epitactic overgrowth. In places, the magnetite appears to have formed between the titanites and is sort of bulging out, crystallographically between the titanite crystals. Very interesting!
