Gold, Quartz, Calcite

Very thick, rich, deep yellow gold is present in this carbonate vein that has weathered slightly with an iron tint. The gold traverses through the calcite and is also present in cleavage planes and as coatings on a few quartz crystals on the wall rock contact. Interesting and rich!
