Fluorite, Quartz

Fluorite is found in a wide variety of crystal habits, but of all the fluorite localities in the world the pieces found in the trap rock in this part of India are some of the most distinctive due to their botryoidal formations. This specimen features some nice quartz accompanying the fluorite. The quartz has a matte appearance due to a very fine druzy coating all the surfaces. Charming!
