A purple and yellow zoned section of a fluorite crystal from the historic Illinois-Kentucky Fluorspar District, one of the USAs most famous fluorite localities. Doesn't have all its corners on the main face, but does show great zoning, has a wonderfully concave hoppered face and features highly fluorescent liquid bubble inclusions. It is not uncommon for these fluorite specimens to sometimes contain bitumen, oil or other hydrocarbon inclusions. A nice example from the classic Cave-in-Rock!
