Fluorapatite, Spodumene

Here is an odd one! Red, botryoidal fluorapatite! This white matrix is composed of interlocking, colourless, spodumene crystals cemented by a white mineral. The open space at the top of the specimen is lined with the red apatite and some spodumene terminations. Unusual and rare!
