A fairly well-formed quartz crystal is perched ever so nicely on this vertical plate of sharp, dark-green epidote crystals. The Marmoraton Mine was an iron mine on a giant skarn zone and epidote was a common mineral, although not often well crystallized! This specimen looks great too!
