The top of this fragment of gossan is covered with light blue-green hemispheres of chrysocolla. Looks great!
The Planet Mine is an old copper and iron mine located in La Paz county, Arizona. The mine operated between 1863-1917. The old mine workings, the foundations of the post office and other buildings are still there at the site.
