Just have to love the light blue hemispheres of chrysocolla on this pitch black, siliceous matrix. Some of the blue "dots" are coated with the black mineral!
The Planet Mine is an old copper and iron mine located in La Paz county, Arizona. The mine operated between 1863-1917. The old mine workings, the foundations of the post office and other buildings are still there at the site.
