This is an excellent pseudomorph! It is a chlorite schist matrix with a very sharp pseudomorph of chlorite after garnet, presumably almandine, exposed atone end. The crystal is delightfully elongated in one direction, giving a prismatic appearance. First class specimen from this long-closed location!
