This piece of altered pegmatite has a large opening on the fronto of it that expses sprays of black aegirine, largely or partially encrusted with tiny crystals of hexagonal catapleiite. Many hundreds or thousands of them! The matrix is composed of interlocking microcline, natrolite, aegirine and eudialyite group minerals in large crystals. Interesting!
