This is a sweet botryoidal calcite sphere in a partial vug in dolomitic limestone matrix from the Flamboro Quarry. The ball has both a small sharp calcite rhomb protruding from its side and a sphalerite crystal on the top. Glows blue-white under UV light and the dolomite has a u/v yellow colouration. A striking example from this locality. DD
