This highly lustrous calcite crystal shows a large rhombohedron, terminating a smaller scalenohedron of calcite. Same habit as Schullsburg, Wisconsin calcite crystals. The scalenohedron is composed of stepped rhombs and grades into the larger terminating rhomb. A nice study in calcite crystallography that looks great, in addition!
