Both sides of this grayish matrix has cavities lined with balls of deep blue azurite crystals, associated with malachite balls and an unknown black mineral. The azurite balls are composed of sharp 1mm or so crystals of azurite fashioned into the curved aggregates. Some of the balls are pure azurite and some have a coating of the black mineral. Nice specimen from this long closed mine.
