A great example of azurite/malachite from the long closed Empress of India Mine in Yukon Territory. The azurite is present as crystals in small vugs throughout the piece. Not many specimens from this mine have survived. Though collectors can manage to find material from the site, on occasion, the main portal to the mine has collapsed making it very difficult produce anything significant. Very cool, rare, secondary mineral specimen from Canada.
