A azurite sample from the long closed Empress of India Mine in the Yukon. The azurite on the specimen looks like it tried to crystallize into but wasn't able to do so fully. There is one vug on the piece that does have some azurite blades inside. Not many specimens from this mine have survived. Though collectors can manage to collect material from the site on occasion, the main portal to the mine has collapsed making it very difficult produce anything significant. Very cool, rare, secondary mineral specimen from Canada.
