This specimen features elongated, pseudo-hexagonal, twinned crystals of aragonite on matrix. Trace amounts of sulphur appear on the specimen as well but are not prominent. The specimen comes from the historic Giamentaro Mine which closed sometime in the 1980's. This Aragonite is from a classic locality and is in great shape overall.
