Antimony, Valentinite, Stibnite

This very dense specimen is about 60% pure native antimony! The dark part that you see in the middle is all native antimony. It is a vein section and the lighter minerals that you see are stibnite, quartz and valentinite. There are some excellent micro-valentinite crystals in some of the vuggy areas. Rich specimen from this old, long closed, antimony mine.
