Alunite, Jarosite

This is interesting. The vug on the top of this brecciated matrix is lined with alunite crystals, sopme just light beige while others are strongly zoned with an outer, presumably iron-rich, alunite zone. In the vug, similarly coloured clusters of jarosite crystals largely cover some of the alunite crystals. Interesting!
