An attractive specimen featuring a prominent translucent and gemmy butterscotch coloured wulfenite crystal positioned near the  right side of the specimen. The matrix is largely composed of light-beige mimetite, and contains many more smaller wulfenite crystals as well.

Both minerals are classic products of the oxidized zones of lead-rich ore deposits, and the famous Tsumeb Mine in Namibia is renowned for producing exceptional examples of such associations. Tsumeb is considered one of the world’s great mineral localities, celebrated for its remarkable mineral diversity and superb crystal specimens. This piece also carries excellent provenance, originating from the respected international mineral collection of Peter Tarassoff.

Note: All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). International customers are charged in CAD, exchange rate is calculated automatically by your bank/paypal upon checkout.
