A well-formed, singly terminated crystal of the rare phosphate mineral whiteite sits amongst other whiteite crystals. From the famous Rapid Creek Mining District. This locality is known for its Late Cretaceous shales and sideritic ironstones, display considerable folding and faulting, with phosphate mineralization occurring in fractures.
