This specimen features numerous yellow-to-white weloganite crystals displaying well-defined six-sided prismatic forms with pedion terminations and distinctive transverse striations. These crystals rest on a sparkling bed of quartz druse, accompanied by additional species including what looks like possible hydro-dresserite.  This piece originates from the Francon Quarry in central Montreal, a locality famous for its rare suite of minerals formed within an alkalic intrusive sill hosted in limestone. Since the quarry’s closure in 1981, access has been permanently restricted, and specimens from this site have become exceedingly rare and highly sought after by collectors worldwide.

Note: All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). International customers are charged in CAD, exchange rate is calculated automatically by your bank/paypal upon checkout.
